Używaj znaczników kodu.

Na początek wyłącz repozytoria ppa i wtedy próbuj upgrade.

Dziękuję,
mało się tu udzielam, jak używać tych znaczników?
Czy chodzi o "odhaczenie" checkbox'ów w Osobistym Archiwum Pakietów (PPA)?
(nie wiem jak dołaczyć zrzut z ekranu)
(chyba już wiem imgur?)

Tak, odhaczenie wystarczy.
Po aktualizacji do nowszej wersji Mint te ppa też trzeba będzie przestawić na nowszą wersję Ubuntu.
Opis znaczników kodu jest w zasadach forum (link w nagłówku strony lub mojej stopce)

Chyba zrobiłem ze dwa kroki na przód ale... pojawił się komunikat, ze potrzebne jest wolne 4,6 GB a mam tylko 3,0 GB,
nie bardzo mam co usuwać z /home/gbk. Czy rzeczywiście potrzeba nowe/wolne aż 4,6 GB do uaktualnienia?

Dzięki za wskazówki.
Problem leżał (dość dobrze ukryty) w BIOS'ie laptopa.
Okazało się, że lenovo ma jakieś umowy licencyjne,
które ograniczają domyślnie ingerencję w BIOS.
Trzeba było zmienić ustawienia, które omijały te umowy.
Minęło troche czasu i nie pamiętam szczegółów
ale po tej zmianie wszystko ruszyło bez problemów.
Problem rozwiązany w dziwny sposób.
Bardziej formalno-prawny niż techniczny.
