Spróbuj wpisać startx.

EDIT:
Jeśli to nic nie da, uruchom Minta z pendriwa  w trybie Live, otwórz terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) i wpisz polecenie: inxi -Fxz. To, co się wyświetli, skopiuj z terminala i wklej na forum w znaczniki CODE (przepis w mojej sygnaturze). Zobaczymy, czy to nie przypadkiem karta graficzna
